Current Campaigns

In 2026 the definitive map will be declared complete by the council. After this date it will no longer be possible to claim routes that are not already designated bridleway status.
It is in our interest to work hard now to ensure that all of our routes are firmly secured as bridleways prior to this date.
Did you know it can take up to fifteen years for the council to change the staus of a path from footpath to bridleway? Hence 2026 is not that far way!
Our Group holds meetings monthly to address rights of way issues and all members are welcome to attend.

Current camapigns

A couple of bridleways are under threat and need your support if they are to remain.
Please read the documents below, raise awareness and write to the council... deadlines are very close so prompt action is necessary!
